Bob Monte, Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®), was invited to speak to the UConn Foundation staff in Storrs, CT. This presentation was about charitable giving strategies from his viewpoint as an investment advisor. Fellow CAP®, Clayton Jason, Director of Gift Planning, organized this event to share the experiences of crafting a charitable gift plan for individuals and their families.

The UConn Foundation currently offers many unique gifting opportunities for Alumni and others through scholarships and program support. These can include areas such as environmental sciences, center for clean energy engineering, marine sciences and more. The Foundation is in a unique position to offer a sustainable platform for annual giving. This will impact the lives of many promising students ultimately helping solve major issues in society.
