Volunteering at CT Foodshare

Yesterday morning, the Monte Financial Group team volunteered at Connecticut Foodshare, a critical supplier in the food distribution network throughout the state for individuals and families in need. We were able to sort 10,878 pounds of produce, which equates to roughly 9,065 meals. Last year, Connecticut Foodshare distributed enough food to provide over 40 million meals through a network of more than 650 community-based hunger relief programs, including food pantries, meal programs, and mobile food pantries.
